Description:
This position manages all traffic functions related to WAMU 88.5's HR Channel 3. In addition, the position provides back-up support for job functions of the Traffic Manager(s) and Manager of Content Operations when required.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field of study, or equivalent broadcasting experience.

Minimum Requirements:
Understanding of WAMU's radio stations. Must be professional, patient, and discreet and demonstrate ability to work well with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Computer experience mandatory including MS Word, Excel and various software applications.

Preferred Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, excellent writing skills and a strong grasp of current events. Requires highly organized, focused and detail oriented person who can perform a multitude of tasks efficiently. Must be able to interface effectively with technical personnel and often with on-air hosts maintaining patience and professionalism. Requires a thick-skinned yet flexible and friendly approach with all internal and external communications.
