Apple in talks with Epix over content streaming to Apple TV and other devices
Apple has been involved in talks with major TV channel Epix over rights to streaming its content to the Apple TV or any other Apple device which has that capability. The Epix channel is backed by three major movie studios, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Paramount Pictures and Lionsgate.

Mozilla dispatches Firefox 3.6, fills its chair with version 13 beta
If you've been defiantly clinging onto Firefox 3.6 by your fingertips, bad news. Mozilla is officially putting it to sleep -- whether you like it or not -- by auto-updating users to version 12. You've still got a few days to bid your emotional farewells, with the switchover being pegged as early May. But, the browser's creators stop short of setting a date for you to get the flowers delivered by. Official support for the 2010 release finished this week, and the final bout of security fixes was back in January. At the other end of the spectrum, Firefox 13 wobbled up onto its beta legs yesterday, bringing a new homepage, Google's new SPDY protocol and tab extra features with it. If you're making the leap, don't panic if you find some old friends missing.

Report: 69% Of Tablet Owners Watch TV And Surf The Web Simultaneously
Just watching TV without also using a tablet or smartphone at the same time seems to be on its way out. Earlier this month, Nielsen launched the first part of its report on primetime TV viewers in the U.S. and today, the analytics company is taking a deeper dive into the demographics of those who simultaneously watch TV and use their tablets. According to Nielsen, 45% of tablet owners watch TV and use their tablet together at least once a day. 'Snow White And The Huntsman' Sequel In The Works?
It's more than a month until first Kristen Stewart film is released, but David Koepp is reportedly in talks to pen a sequel script.

Despite the fact that we're still a little more than a month away from the release of "Snow White and the Huntsman," there are already rumblings of a sequel.
According to Deadline, Universal has apparently already begun talking to screenwriter David Koepp about writing a sequel to the film, which is one of this summer's most highly anticipated movies. Koepp certainly has enough credibility in drafting scripts for big blockbusters: He has screenplay credits on "Jurassic Park," "Mission: Impossible," "Spider-Man," "War of the Worlds" and "Men in Black III."
Naturally, we don't know what happens to the characters over the course of the film, but star Kristen Stewart has already expressed interest in reprising her role as the titular Snow White.
"To be totally candid and honest with you, when I first signed on to this thing, the idea of doing another franchise was like, 'Wow, [we'll] cross that bridge when it comes.' It was something so far outside my realm of thinking," she told MTV News when asked if she'd be game for more action and adventure as the fairest one of all. "I was so focused on the first one, and I thought, 'Maybe, maybe,' but I've got stars in my eyes. I'm literally over the moon about what I'm doing right now," she said of her work on "Huntsman." "Yes, I would love to [do more 'Snow White' films]."
"Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders is reportedly Universal's choice to helm the sequel if it happens, and judging from his positive comments about working with Stewart, it seems likely the pair could team up again.
"Kristen is a very driven, visceral, intuitive actress. From a director's point of view, it's great to get into her headspace," Sanders said. "We did a lot of work together on the script and character, and she really helped inform me how that character was feeling, which really helped my process getting the character onscreen. Kristen was doing a lot of her stunt work, she was riding horses, she was jumping from high precipices into freezing cold water, she was fighting dwarves — she's gung-ho."

Zynga Beats Q1 Estimates With Revenues Of $321 Million As Mobile Usage Climbs To 21M Daily
Zynga's revenues rose 32 percent to $321 million in the first quarter, beating analysts' estimates of $316.8 million in revenue and earnings of 5 cents a share excluding stock-based expenses. Bookings* came in at a record $329 million, up 15 percent over the year before, and up 7 percent compared to the previous quarter -- meaning Zynga didn't see that seasonal decline in revenues that Facebook did. The company said revenue growth was driven by the launch of games like Hidden Chronicles and Castleville and its increasing footprint on mobile platforms. Overall, Zynga posted a net loss of $85.4 million, mostly because of stock-based expenses. Excluding those expenses of $133.9 million, Zynga would have had earnings per share of 6 cents or $47 million. That would be down 38 percent from the year before. The company also raised its annual guidance to $1.425 billion to $1.5 billion in bookings, up from $1.35 to $1.45 billion. Bell Canada launches revamped push-to-talk service, now with added 4G
People have been pushing to talk for a good number of years, but it's a service that has largely remained untouched by the passing of time. Bell, however, thinks it's due a little lick of "next-generation" paint. What's new? Well, the firm boasts that it's the firs PTT service in North America to make use of 4G, which on Bell, means a slice of that "up to" 21Mb goodness. The service launches on a slew of devices that includes the BlackBerry Curve 9360, the Samsung Galaxy SII and the rugged Sonim XP5520 with a range of plans available. Want to know more?
